7,000 calories later
It's after 11 p.m. and I've given up on trick or treaters tonight. Oh well. Not really surprising since it's not a German tradition. But it has caught on in some areas, just not in our dark and scary cul de sac. That means more candy for us. Not a good thing. One more mini Mars Bar and I swear I'll explode.
Boy13 designed our pumpkin this year. I love it.
We had our usual Halloween dinner, including a very scary serpent
(no venom, just ham and cheese - recipe here)
and a candy corn cake for dessert

I'm going to go to bed now and try to sleep off the sugar shock.
Happy Halloween!

Looks like you had a lovely Halloween Christina! Great pumpkin too!
Marvelous pictures!
Great pictures love the cake!
I love that you keep up these little traditions, Christina. We were invited to a 50th birthday, so we got our calories there instead of with candy :-)
Will you adopt me? I want to live at your place. It's look so nice there ... to be read in a self pithing tone xx
Christina, very creative everything, love it! And thank you very much for your note!:)
Even tho we are sich, we had a blast and the restaurant doesn't go nowhere...LOL
i feel like such a schlump compared to your wonderful creativity!
I always know I'm gonna get food for thought when open up your blog, Christina. HA! You always take the cake! Do you think you could possibly pass on some of your cooking genes to me for my next life??
We don't get many trick-or-treaters anymore either -it seems like the parents don't allow it much anymore, or is passed up in lieu of kid's parties and bonfires. The food looks awesome!
