please fasten your seatbelts

You know what they say about the best laid plans. Well, the plan was to blog considerably more while we were here, but, um, real life got in the way. That doesn't mean I don't have anything to say though! It's just going to take a while.

Our plane leaves shortly before 7 p.m. this evening and we'll be back in Dullsville late Tuesday afternoon. School starts Thursday, that should be fun.

We've had a wonderful time, as usual, and it's going to be REALLY hard to leave.

Much more to come from the continent later this week.

We've missed you, Mausi. And I have thought of you being at home in Canada and seeing you with a smile. I hope your time there was wonderful!

Hope you had a great flight and the culture shock of being back in Germ isn't too bad.

You're so funny. You live in Germany. If you want dullsville, come to Indiana! Save travels!

Hope you have returned safe and sound, and not too homesick. This year it wasn't just me teary eyed on the plane. As the flight took off, Hew, now age 4, turns to me and says "I don't want to go back to Florida." I knew I liked that kid for a reason :)

Welcome 'Home'. I missed your posts and look forward to reading and seeing photos of your trip. Your teaser photos were amazing. I must get to the Northwest someday. The neighborhood has been quiet since the beginning of August. Seems all of the germans have left the country. Rather peaceful I must say. Lurking Lisa in Stuttgart.

I totally know the feeling, Christina. We were at Farm Day in Michigan, Nicholas in tow for the first time, and got back the evening before he started 3rd grade the next day!!!
