good thing I am not performing brain surgery today

We made it home safely and I have wicked, wicked jetlag. Have already been out foraging for food and am now attempting to put away the contents of eight bursting-at-the-seams suitcases. It's not going so well since I have to sit down every ten minutes and stare into space wondering what day it is.

Dear KLM,

As much as we love you - you got us where we wanted to go without a hitch and your staff were friendly and helpful - you served the absolute WORST airline food we have EVER tasted. Ever. We thought maybe it was just a fluke on the way over, but the flight back confirmed it. Absolutely appalling, and we're not that picky, believe me.

We know you'll try harder next time.

yeah for a safe trip home... I guess they were just trying to prep you out of Canadian food?

I think it's called price cuts.. laughs..

It was great seeing you! I'll have to send you some photos pflight took from our trip, simply amazing.

Glad you made it home safely. And it's nice to know that crappy airline food has gone international. ;-)

Actually, I have said all along that KLM is my favorite airline, Christina, but come to think of it, I have really started to get tired of the food. Some of it I love; others of it have gotten "sickening" to me after eating it too many times. So I kinda know what you mean.

Now that you are back, I WILL find time to write you! We have had some "upheavals" to deal with lately but will get through them, I'm sure. :)

LOL! Glad you back safe. Yes, KLM will get you where you want to go, but the food is pretty gross. I think it is because they are dutch. Fast food in Amsterdam is sandwich from a vending machine.

Glad you are home safely! Take a nap - the suitcases will still be there unless you happen to have a laundry fairy!

Hi Mausi. When I read this letter to KLM I had to laugh like crazy. My family and I flew to San Francisco last Easter with KLM and WE EXPERIENCED THE SAME EXACT THING! I'm not at all picky about airline food, either, and this never happened to me before. I just couldn't believe it. What was that white curd looking stuff that was covered with spinach or something anyway? Unbelievable. What ever happened to beef or chicken?? I still can't believe it. Next time I'm taking British Airways.

I hate to say it, but Finnair has the absolute worst food I've ever experienced on any airline.

I don't know-- I can't imagine anything being worse than Alitalia! I'll never forget the look on S's face when he received a white bun with nothing but a pickled artichoke heart in the middle! AAACCCKKK!
