if it's happening, it sure ain't happening here
Feeling quite lousy lately. Zero blogging mojo. This week my New Year's resolutions are to make it out of bed every morning and possibly even get dressed and leave the house occasionally. In fact I am so zapped that I think I'll just leave the Christmas decorations up and be ahead of the game for December 2008.
A short blogging break is in order, I think. You just go on and have fun without me.

Have a lovely break. We'll still be here when you get back. And I understand the no mojo thing - happens to me too.
Enjoy it, rest well, and come back with new joy and energy!
Since being back at the office ~ a grand total of two days ~ I think I am in need of some mojo as well!
Just pretend you're a squirrel and it is time for hibernation...
Don't feel bad...I thought I had the winter blues here at the Great Lakes. First I was complaining about too much snow, now after a tornado and rainstorms, I guess the world is going to be washed away...and I just want to hide because it is nasty outside. Thanks god I don't have to go anywhere...for a while that is.
Aw but we will miss you, Mausi! Take a rest and then get back to us!
Thanks, we will! I hope the mojo comes back soon.
It can't be Frühjahrsmüdigkeit but go ahead and get a deserved rest!
Is it your thyroid again? It can really mess with your head...don't let it get you down.
I just had a weird episode with my thyroid (I've been on synthroid for over 20 years) and I always have to wonder how much of my mental and physical state is really me, and how much is that little gland messing things up for me.
Christina, hope you're better soon.
Hope you're feeling better soon. Methinks there's a bit of the winter doldrums going around. We'll be here when you get back!
Take it easy and get some rest. We'll be here when you're back.
Wait a second...
You have a t'yroid problem too?
awqwww, sorry to hear you're a bit down. Rest and do what you need to do. Your fans will still be here after your break.
Hug
Oh dear!
Get well soon...
Happy New Year!
Oh, I feel it too! Mind you, I have a cold so....
Anyway, you enjoy your break. See you sooner rather than later, I hope!
January is so like that, I do understand. I hope you've at least seen some of the sunny weather we're getting over here in the east. It seems to help, along with a bulb of amaryllis or two.
I'm with J on the "ack" missing your posts, but totally understand, as I've started this new job and feel the "monster momma" rearing her very ugly head...making me second guess the decision to take the job in the first place-UGH!
Take a break, we'll all be thinking of you and wishing you peace!
ps-biggest thanks and hugs for the advice on kitchen-ness for our home!!
Christina, I hope you find your mojo soon, maybe you could play the old R&B song 'Got My Mojo Working' a few times. :-; Happy New Year!
If you wake up one day in July and realize your Christmas decor is still on display, you might want to consider a good SSRI .... Hope you feel better soon.
Hi,
some days I take the chance, to scan my blogger friends friends, and open and read.
Don't be afraid, I'm an "old man", my last posts is from our Silver Wedding in Argentina or from Oslo, Norway.
The reason you obtained my interest: Vancouver BC.
Was there in 2006 - what a Summer and first time in 1995.
I would like to wish you a great 2008, and hope you will be inspered to blog this year as well
PS.Remember, English is not my mother tongue. OK?
I've "scanned" a bit which well it's readable, so to speak
Sometimes blogging feels like just another obligation, and who wants that?!
Enjoy the downtime...
Have a restful break. We all have times when it is best to crawl under the cover and pull them over our head. Take care of yourself.
BTW it was a no to the position in Germany but the resumes keep going out.
Sometimes you just need something new to blog about - like a move from one side of the world to the other... certainly did it for me;)
Enjoy a little non-blogging break.. go kiss your husband!
For how long do you plan to have your blogging break? And - I tagged you.
LOL, Christina! Well, not about your not having the energy to get out of bed. I hate that for you. I really felt that way about Christmas decorations this year and was not expecting to do anything until Amy told me she NEEDED me to for Dennis. Then I got all excited. But I had no energy to take anything down before leaving yesterday for AMS. So the 2 Xmas trees, etc. will still be up when we arrive home on Feb. 1. As long as they're down by Valentine's Day, I'm okay!
I hope you're feeling a bit more spunky by now?
Come back soon, sweetpea. You are missed :) Failing that, come over to Belgium and take a rest cure at Villa Kiwi - good food and wine a promise.
xo
I wish you sunny weather and beaches. Or whatever tickles your fancy. It's tough when your down. Hang in there.
We all know what a blog funk can be like! Take some time to yourself. Rest, relax and we hope to see you back here soon.
Cyn

Knock Knock...anybody there? Should I call the hospitals?
