feeling lonely?
If you use Blogger comment notification to keep track of your comments, you may think that your readers have abandoned you. That's not the case at all - it's just that the notification thingie has gone haywire. E mails are not getting through and people over at the Blogger Help Group are getting mighty testy. The brains at Google are apparently 'hard at work' trying to remedy the problem. Uh huh. Until then, check for comments directly on your blog and you'll most likely find that everyone still loves you.

Thanks! I was feeling rather lonely...and then I checked my blogs, and there were no comments there either. Hmph.
I wonder how many people will move to Wordpress over the weekend.
Yes, I've noticed that yesterday. I had 3 notification out of 6 comments, so I don't feel all that left out ;)
Hope they fix it soon, otherwise, Lesley might be right about Wordpress booming this weekend!
Oh thank you! I had one of those "was it something I said?" moments... and actually, my most recent post deals with a pretty touchy issue, so I thought I'd scared everyone away!
Went to check my blog and there was one comment... so I did scare 'em away! :-)

I hate the fact that I cannot link to my non-Google Blogger blog anymore when commenting.
:-(
maria - Ooops! :-)
lesley - quite a few, I'd imagine. People are getting pretty fed up with all the silly Blogger changes.
CSwiss - Yep, some get through, others don't. Must be something to do with either having or not having a Google account.
Carol - Plenty of comments there now...
elmada - I know! Many are annoyed about that as well. Apparently Google has started up some kind of open ID thing but it still has a lot of bugs and is optional for the time being. Looks like they're trying to make it as difficult as possible for everyone concerned.
I am SO glad you posted this, Mausi! It's just like you said:
1. Felt lonely.
2. Checked on the blog directly.
3. Found comments.
Whodathunk? Here's the Blogger's Award to you for saving me from temporary insanity. :)
Maria, welcome to my world.
That's funnny, I had that initial reaction, too! I am just glad it didnt happen last week when somebody was leaving anonymous hate mail in my comments section. I would have never got to read it! :)
Man, Christina. Now I know why I was so shocked yesterday to see comments I had never replied to because I had no idea I had them! Thanks for the explanation!!!
Many are impressed by WP and there might be mass migration this time. Any way, coming to ur blog, im first time here. I found lots of post s related to fests, foods, etc. You are wonderful christina.... I luv ur blog so much.....
