"Mummy, I love you because you're all soft and warm and squishy and cuddly"...

...Boy 11 says to me on a regular basis. Well it's no wonder if they keep giving me stuff like this.

Although I HAVE had several generous offers of help to assist in the arduous task of eating it all.

Mr. M visited his mother this morning, I will be calling mine later today.

Happy Mother's Day to mothers everywhere!

Oh yes - nothing to do with mothers, except that he also has one, but normally mild-mannered blogging legend Sal said the F-Word today. Go take a look.

Thank you for the publicity, my good friend. And Happy Mother's Day to you--the most culinarily-creative mom in all of Germany.

It just occurred to me...Mother's you know what May 13, 2007 is?

It's "Mother F-word Day!"

Till soon, amiga.

Boy 11 reminds me of Nicholas! :) He knows you needed more than just the chocolates. So sweet.

Glad you had a good day. I had two in a row. :)

Cynthia - Thanks!

Sal - You're very welcome and I'll try to live up to my culinary reputation! :-)

Cathy - Nothing says love like Skittles!

Expat - It WAS, with the emphasis on was. But I did have some help. :-)

CanSwiss- Thank you! I had a nice day.

Ginnie - Oh yes, he's still my cuddly baby, thank goodness.

I think I would go back to Europe just for the Milka! Yesterday,Shane was looking at some pictures from my summer in Spain, almost three years ago now, and he commented that I looked a bit heavier then. (Apparently he likes to live dangerously!) I think it was because even though I was walking everywhere, my Spanish family always kept a bar of Milka in the refrigerator!

Anyway -- Happy Mother F-word Day! :) I'll try to post on the lilacs soon, since I already took the pictures. (Not much to see.) As soon as I get the pesky wedding invitations ordered!

You know what they say, if you want to look skinnier, fatten up those around you ;)

My friend Carol says her kids complain when she goes to the gym. You see, they like playing with her arm flab.

Hope you had a nice M day!

A little update -- I didn't do lilacs yet, but I FINALLY did your handbag meme. Will you send me Milka now? ;)

Angie - Oh yes, we're surrounded by 10,000 different kinds of Milka chocolate here. After the handbag meme - your wish is my command. Also looking foward to The Lilac Post AND The Trials and Tribulations of Ordering Wedding invitations post! Isn't it amazing how much planning goes into all that?

california kat - I let them eat most of it and yeah, they say I'm perfect just the way I am. Kids are the best self-esteem booster ever. :-)

Mother's Day is celebrated on the first sunday in May in Spain...just to get everybody confused. It seems yours was a very happy, chocolaty one!

How sweet. How can I ever go back to Hershey's chocolate when things like Milka and Ritter Sport have been within reach for so long? Happy belated Mother's day.
