bring your yoga pants

Jen is once again hosting a Girls Only Weekend at her place somewhere deep in the bowels of Germany. The weekend of March 16-18 is looking good for a few of us but nothing is written in stone yet. Go read Jen's post and if you're interested contact her for more details.

I attended last year along with a couple of other female bloggers and it was FUN. The cats were adorable, the food was delicious, Sparky/James was the perfect butler and as you can see, I did not get murdered.

Sounds like you girls in germany like to have fun.
My ironing pile looks like yours, except I haven't started yet. Yuck

I just wrote this down on my calendar, Christina, and will mention this to Donica when she gets home this evening. Who knows, I might be able to be there!?! I'll be the eternal optimist. :)

That sounds like crazy fun. I wonder how long it takes to get from Zurich to the bowels of Germany.

Oh typical. You lot arrange a gathering on a weekend when I'll probably be in a hotel in Frankfurt twindling my thumbs and then make it "girls only"!
I'm not sure whether to be jealous or pitying for Sparky/James though....

Sounds great! Lisa mentioned it too! :-) M might have a trip to China planned for that week (*groan!*) but if he's around I'd LOVE to come hang out with you guys!

Christina, make sure you take your ukulele.

Neil, I'll be around that weekend and will be glad to meet up with you for a few drinks in Ffurt. Perhaps we can convince some of the bloggers in Ffurt to meet us.

That sounds like fun. I mentioned to dh - he wasn't really impressed with another "guys weekend" since I'm leaving the "guys" Feb 2-5 for Nashville :( I'll keep trying.

meredith- Well, it was a very small group last year, but we sure had a good time.

Ginnie - That would be a hoot!

Jul - Thanks for stopping by. I just checked and it's between 4 and 5 hours depending on which trains you take. Takes me about as long to get there as well.

neiletta - Hmm, I wonder if you sweet talked Jen if she'd give you a back stage pass for Sunday brunch?

Alison - The more the merrier! You don't have to live in Germany to attend.

Betsy - I'm sure if it's not convenient for a lot of people the date could be changed. It would be great to meet you.

J - I dunno, I don't want to make people's ears bleed. Yeah, nothing stopping you guys from having your own meeting in Frankfurt.

Andrea - Just mope around the house and sigh a lot. Works for me. :-)

Sweet! That's totally doable for a weekend. I'm thinking about it...
