this sounds like a job for Bicycle Repair Man!

Have run into a spot (a rather large one) of computer trouble and won't be able to continue my Bonn travelogue until later today. The sad thing is that *I* am the one in our household who knows the most about computers. Mr. M can fix cars, toasters and washing machines. I get left with the technical stuff. Stop laughing.

Back later if everything goes well.

I'm working on mine too, but haven't had much time this week.

I'll send my bike shop guy over.

My colleagues have learned it is quicker to come to me than to tech support ... ugh! If it weren't for the pay cut, I'd do that for a living. Good luck.

Hey, my G does that for a living. If there's anything I can do for you long distance (questions or advice) from here, let me know.

CanSwiss - I'm fixing as fast as I can!

Alison - Almost there. Stay tuned!

Expat - OK, OK, I'm working on it. :-)

J - You did a great write up but I'm pretending to ignore it so it won't influence mine.

mikeb - Ahh, I see. Then I'll know whose shoulder to cry on when everything implodes.

Lisa - Thank you so much. I seem to have whipped the computer into submission today, but I'll certainly take you up on that offer if it goes wonky again.

Ok so I know you are not from the States, but I still wanted to wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving!

From one North American to another! Buona festa!

Cyn - Thanks! The more holidays the better.

Because I have a techie in the house, I make virtually no attempt to learn anything related to the computer, sometimes to my downfall. It's funny what you learn when you HAVE to! So proud of you for being able to figure this stuff out. :)

Just popped over to wish you a happy Thanksgiving, Mausi. Know you (and my parents!) celebrated Canadian thanksgiving a couple of weeks ago but figure that as big a cook as you are you'll probably find some delicious way to mark the occasion today as well... :-)

Ginnie - I think my brain is about to explode, actually. The things one learns in a crisis.

P.S. IOU a big long e mail - it's coming SOON!

Betsy - Thanks! No gourmet extravaganza today - we're having pizza. :-) :-)
