there's a first time for everyone

Last night it was his turn.

Sal, Spain's nuttiest expat bar tender and blogging buddy extraordinaire, tells us all about his life-changing experience right here.

Warning: you may need to wear sunglasses to shield your eyes from the cuteness.

Real social interaction with real people! It was such a strange feeling.

So...rustic. So...quaint. So...old-fashioned. I guess communication to people without the aid of a keyboard isn't quite as archaic as I thought.

It was a lot of fun. I've made a pact with myself to meet, in person, all of my most bestest blogging buddies (and you all know who you are) within the next five years.

Look out, blogosphere. The VTB Love Train is a-rollin'.

Sal - it's great, isn't it? Especially since you already kind of "know" each other and can skip over all the background stuff.

"The VTB Love Train" - Heh. Do I see matching purple t-shirts for all of us? I'm up for anything as long as you don't make me sing. Or dance. :-)

Since we know what this is like, Christina, I can truly understand why you'd be excited for Sal's experience :)

BTW, I'll be in Hannover from Dec. 5-14, so we need to work on a rendezvous time....maybe to see the Christmas Market in city center?

I've signed up! If I can't make the one, I'll make the other. I hope Sal has a BIG house! :-)

Ginnie - We'll definitely find time for a rendevous. I'll keep those dates in mind and see what I have on during that time.

CanSwiss - That's great! I don't think the location has really been decided yet so it may be somewhere else other than Spain, but it will be FUN for sure.

It is always fun to meet fellow bloggers in person. I have met a lot expats through expats in Italy. Every once in a while we have get togethers where we eat and chat, face to face.

Wishing I could get to Spain for Sal's big party! Or even Germany for that matter!
