Bonn Part 1
Real life stuff to do today so I thought I'd first post a list of meet-up participants. It was a mixture of the usual suspects and some great new people whom I really enjoyed talking to. Here you go, in no particular order just as they pop into my head:
J ("Ass is everywhere!")
Jen ("Hee! Did I just say that?") and Sparky ("Go on, dare me!")
Christina ("I was a geek in high school and just look at me now!")and her husband Rainer ("Who ARE these crazy people?")
Mr. and Mrs. Haddock and the Juniorette ("Cover your ears, Juniorette!")
Hamish ("You know, I feel taller than this.")
Belinda("I promise not to make anyone knit!")
Heather ("I was only supposed to be here for 6 months. *sigh*") and her boyfriend D ("Call me anything you like. No one in Germany gets my name right anyway.")
Andrea ("I'm not quite sure what I've gotten myself into here but I kinda like it.")
Jennifer - a fellow British Columbian who will be starting a blog any day now. ("I can see right into my neighbour's apartment and believe me, you DON'T want to know!")
And li'l ol' me who was as shy and retiring as usual. NOT. Had to tell myself to shut up a few time so other people could talk.
More later.

LOL I'm still really proud of myself about that! I hope you guys had a great time after I left :D can't wait to see the photos.
Next time you and I will definitely hang out more!!!
It was great to see you again Christina, shame we couldn't stay longer, as we really enjoyed it in Bonn :)
Okay, now we all want to know the juicy details. And see photos :-)
Also, please link Jennifer's blog as soon as she starts it.
What fun! I don't know your blogging friends but I am green jealous (in a positive way) !!!
LOL! Yep, that's an exact quote of mine. It's true too!
I was thinking about y'all the whole weekend!
FOURTEEN of you??? Did I count right? That's a big group of you. What a riot. Maybe next year there'll be twice as many, if that's not too much.
Yes, now the pics. Did everyone give permission? :)
sounds like fun already! Leaving us hanging for more! :)
Belinda - It got even funner after you left, but not BECAUSE you left, of course. :-)Looking forward to seeing you at the next one!
Haddock - It was great to see you all too. I hope your family event was fun.
CanSwiss - We were laughing the whole time - it was really fun.
mar - Stay tuned for the Pan-European Meet-Up tentatively planned for next year. Everyone's invited.
J - It is true! I saw it with my own eyes. You should post all those pics on your blog.
Dixie - Next time for sure. We missed you.
Ginnie - Fifteen, actually, including significant others and family members. I was really surprised and delighted that so many people showed up. Don't know about the pics - some bloggers like to stay incognito but we'll see.
Expat - I'm getting to it, but I think I broke my computer today so it could take a while.
Can we bribe pictures outta you?
Carol
Carol - I barely took any pictures and they're not very good, but you never know. :-)
I enjoyed meeting you! I wish I would've had more time to speak with you but hey, maybe next year.? Now about that possible blog of mine, I wouldn't exactly say 'any day now' but I'll get there! Take care, Jennifer
I did feel taller than that. Great to meet you.
Hey thanks for posting. I was sorry not to make it to Bonn but it was fun to visit the blogs of those that did :)
One day soon I'll have an income ... I'll wander at will, as often and as far as I like then.
Jennifer - I'm so glad you decided to come along and I really enjoyed meeting you too. Too bad we were sitting at opposite ends of the table. :-) We'll do something about that next time. As for starting your blog - no pressure, we'll give you until the end of the month! ;-)
Hamish - You're a giant among men!
wandering woman - You would have enjoyed it, I think. But there will be many more opportunities, I'm sure, both organized and spontaneous and I may just show up on your doorstep one of these days.
