That's one of the BEST things I've ever seen. I'm really big on hugging so this appealed to me in a huge way.

I'm going to have to write some kind of blog post in reference to this vid because I'm all inspired now :D

You really know how to make a girl cry, you know that? I got about a fourth of the way through where he hugged the first lady and lost it. But good crying. There are sure days I could stand to run into that guy. He should especially be hired for nursing homes and orphanages. Think of all the people who go for weeks, months, without anyone touching them, and you know how good it feels to get your back or shoulders massaged when you're feeling down.

I admit you've touched a nerve in me with this one. I've often thought it would be nice if there were a job where all you did was touch people in a calm, affirming, non-sexual way. Brushing hair, back rubs, scalp massage, holding hands and talking. There is a big need out there for that. I would be first in line to apply for it. I know I sound like a kook saying so, but I'm really a harmless kook, I promise.

That vid's the best, isn't it? It always makes me tear up. I think we forget how powerful hugs can be.

Lisa, I'll bet you could do just that - touch people in a nice way - at a senior's home. Those old folks love to have people come in and hold their hands and talk to them. I don't think it sounds kooky at all - there are volunteers that do just that.

OMG, Christina. As I was telling Donica about tbis, I could hardly finish because of my happy tears. What a feel-good thought, idea and enactment of something so incredibly powerful!

It was strangely up lifting for me. Us British chaps are not big on hugging! :)
Nice sound track!
