I just flew in from Vancouver...

...and boy are my arms tired! Ha ha. Well, OK, I flew in from Vancouver yesterday, and it's not just my arms that are tired - the rest of me is absolutely exhausted. Whoever says flying west to east is easier hasn't met me. I am the Queen of Jetlag.

More news and pictures to come after I put the ol' brain in gear.

Thank you all for your great comments and I'll be catching up on all your blogs very soon.

Yay! You're home!! You have been sorely missed!

I hate that you're so jet lagged. That's painful! I consider myself lucky that I seldom get jet lag but then again I sort of live on US central time all the time anyway.

Yes indeed, Christina. Welcome back! I'm guessing right now you're not quite sure where home is, but at least you're around all your own personal surroundings. Take your time at getting re-acclimated to Germany. When do the boys start school? Give yourself some breaks till them! I missed you!

Good heavens! I am going on vacation with you next year. I have to say that your pics are beautiful. Good to have you back. Hope that all that "Canada-ness" blocks any homesickness for a few months.

It was nice having you in our time zone...! The rains have begun again in Seattle -- far too soon! I just love that week called "summer" that happens once a year around here !

Welcome back Christina! As for the Jetlag, I have the same. BTW, flying west to east is tougher, certainly not easier!... At least in my book :-)

Welcome back to old Europe. Am I the only one here who never experienced jetlag? I never changed more than one time zone when travelling...

Welcome back to Germany... I visited Vancover briefly this summer and I have to say, it was amazing!

I too suffer far more jetlag going west to east than east to west. It takes me three or four days to adjust

East to west is so easy, get on the plane, sit for a few hours. To the C&I dance, get on another plane. Get off the plane, drive for a bit, get to destination, eat, sleep, and then I'm converted...
