the baby of the family

I can't believe it. My youngest brother R turns 37 today. He's been married for 5 years now and has a little boy of his own to delight in.

R was, and still is, such a sweet guy and I miss him a lot.

Happy Birthday, R!

1971 - 2 1/2 years old

(No bath would be complete without a red plastic fish and a kewpie doll. And check out the groovy 1970's bathroom decor!)

Gosh - That bath really takes me back.

When I was a kid growing up in the UK the in colour for a bathroom suite was either 'avacado' 'pink' or ' bright blue'.... memories.

That's great to put that old photo up on your blog, did you scan it to do that ??

léons life - yes, I scanned it. The quality isn't that great on old photos but it still works.

Haha, hmm, new revenge - posting pictures of brothers in the bath! I might have to try that...

Happy Birthday to your brother, who is just a year older than I am!

leons life - yep, all our stuff was 'avocado' or 'harvest gold'

hippo - I think some of those dolls are collecters items now. I have no idea where that one went.

Expat - actually, I'd love to have a bathtub that colour now, but not to go with those tiles! :-)

mel - I'm pretty sure he doesn't read my blog!

I noticed the tub toys even before I read what you said below. What a sweet picture and lucky you to have had (and still have) such a nice little brother.
