when good pumpkins go bad

pumpkin retirement home (aka the compost heap)

Shortly after this picture was taken I was witness to a rather unfortunate incident involving a father with no sense at all, two small boys and a machete. Yes, a machete. What? You don't have one of those?

The pumpkins are now resting in peace pieces, bless their moldy little hearts.

sounds like they had fun; a bit of pent up frustration, perhaps? I could use a machete and some rotting pumpkins myself, I think.

Cathy - Machetes aren't really my thing - I prefer to break dishes!

Haddock - axes, knives, machetes, chain saws, very tall ladders, giant hedge clippers - we have it all if you ever need to borrow anything. :-)

Is that a cigarette the one on the right is smoking? He probably needed to be put out of his misery anyway. ;)

God, what I wouldn't give for a machete! Unfortunately, my wife keeps the sharp knives...

Why does your page always look nice - even when it's the scene of slaughtered vegetables?
