A couple of hours ago Mr. M arrived home (on time!!) from a two day business trip to Munich.

Mmmhhh, aren't they great? Fresh pretzels are a delicacy. Our last stop before heading to the airport in Hamburg is the train central station for some two dozens of the small ones (we freeze them, they make them good too up north!). Had to cancel next week's trip though... no pretzels for us :( Lovely picture!

Hmmm, those crazy Germans. I've never had a small boy with a large pretzel as a snack, but I'll try anything once.

I have never had a fresh pretzel. I shall have to try one some time. I may start off with something slightly smaller though.

He brought back THREE of those monsters! Pretzels, I mean, not small boys.

We have them up here too, but only about a third of the size.

Elemm - I think he said he bought them at the Bahnhof but I'm not sure. Where were you thinking?

Well, I had two places in mind. Either at Hauptbahnhof or at the shop in front of Saturn in the Fußgängerzone.

Actually, Alaska. But you're close enough. Depraved minds think alike.

Oh! I hear Alaska calling. Bye.

Christina, Re: Photos; Well, no actually, there wasn't any real photographer involved. T just got one of his friend to push the shutter for him. He actually positioned himself so. ;)

My husband went on a student exchange to Germany in high school and he still talks about how good the pretzels were.
