ja mei!
That means something like "bloody hell" in Bavarian and I'm saying that because %+#%$ Blogger just ate my huge Oktoberfest post! I think I'm going to scream.
Must go do housework now. More Oktoberfest later. Stupid Blogger.
when running away just isn't an option...

ooooooh, sorry to hear that...
Just to make you scream a bit more...The correct Bavarian pronunciation is "Ja, mei". It is a misconception of a lot of non-Bavarian that it's pronounced 'jo'.
'Ja mei' doesn't really fit here, since 'Mei' is actually short for 'Mein Gott'...and 'Ja mei' is actually used in a defeated tone...so ne Art verbales Schulterzucken halt.
An expression that would actually fit here would be: 'Herrschaffdsdonna! Saggradí noch a mal!' ;)
elemm - thanks for the spelling thing. I'll change it right away and then nobody will know what you're talking about. :-) :-)
I will stick to Plattdeutsch..
That's why...I always write my posts in Word, and then copy/paste them into Blogger.
Fool me once, uh...er...mmm...won't get fooled again.
Sal
I know, Sal, I know. I used to think Blogger was my friend, but I've sure learned my lesson now. In the future I'll be cozying up to Word.
ensurt - you have a blog! Excellent. I'm checking it out now.
Blogger is having some MAJOR issues today and it started last night (at least that's when I noticed). It won't allow any photos to be uploaded (the html code never appears after clicking the DONE button), and it's giving this wierd sign-on screen in the middle of a post. I had to try about 4 times to get a post up, because when you click "save as draft" it just wipes out all information. That sucks so much, to spend time writing a post and then lose it.
Bummer Christina! I hate that!
Crystal I was tearing my hair out Saturday night when Blogger kept eating my five picture post! What was I doing blogging on a Saturday night? Husband was at a party and I was home sick. So I was cranky enough without Blogger adding to my woes.
